SERVICES & HOLIDAYS

Christos Anesti! Christ is Risen!

What a great Easter (Pascha) we had this year. All the Holy Week services were very pious, moving and well attended. The choir performances were excellent, and we must thank Venny Flodman for agreeing to re- hearse and lead the choir this year. Thank you to Venny and all the choir members for donating their time to make our holiday more special.

Thank you to all the Parish Council members for their participation and help during the busy Lenten season.

The Agape picnic was the best ever thanks to Nick & Nancy Mirras and their team of helpers. Everyone had fun and there was plenty of food; the lamb was the best!

The PDI committee has spent many hours interviewing Realtors and contractors and havefinallychosenboth. I admire Keith Valle and his committee for their dedication and thank their families for all the support as they tolerated the extra meetings and phone calls.

We appreciate Foti Defterios for donating and sending the Easter flowers. Our Epita- fios was so beautiful and the church looks so festive. We thank Foti and his family for their continued support of our community.

We have the Spring General Assembly on the 20th of this month and hope to see eve- ryone there. We need full participation from parishioners to help make important deci- sion for the progress of our community.

May God through the intercession of His Holy Mother and St. Demetrios help us continue His work.
