in the weekly cycle of services. This means Orthros and the Divine Liturgy on Sundays as well as Feasts of the Church and those services unique to seasons of our Liturgical year. Furthermore, as individuals and as families, we should find time for increased prayer in the home and in our everyday lives. We should make our dwellings an extension of our Church. Participation in the Divine Liturgy then serves as a reminder as to our calling in life.
3) Ministering to the sick
We should visit and care for shut-ins, those in hospitals

Several years ago I sat down and constructed a list of goals and objectives for our Parish. Some of them are shared on the back of my business card. As we begin to move forward in our expansion process and as new families join our Parish, I think it would serve us well to reviewthem. I get really excited about ministry and the beauty of our Community!
1) To share the Truth of Orthodoxy with the County
We need to bring others towards Christ. We are biblically directed by our Lord to share the Good News. This in turn, encourages us to mature in our
own faith. We should adopt a "Come and See" attitude to our extended Ventura County neighbors and share the fullness of Orthodoxy.
2) To encourage healthy worship
We need to participate in Church services and increase our Sacramental awareness. Liturgical attendance and a regular personal relationships with Christ is accomplished as we constantly assess our rela- tionship with God.
